What does it mean to be B Corp certified?

Becoming a B Corp means meeting some of the highest standards of social, environmental, and governance performance in the world. The certification process is led by B Lab, a global non-profit that independently evaluates how a company impacts its employees, community, customers, and the planet.
To earn certification, a business must not only demonstrate responsible practices today but also legally embed its commitment to people and the environment into its company constitution. This ensures that decisions are made with the well-being of all stakeholders in mind, not just shareholders.

Our journey to certification
Our company has always been guided by our value of making our planet a better place. We chose to become a B Corp because it provides a clear framework to measure our impact, pushes us to keep improving, and holds us accountable to that promise.

One of the most challenging parts of the B Impact Assessment was that it really pushed us to go beyond the surface. It made us take a deeper look at many areas of our business and challenge ourselves in ways we hadn’t before. There were moments when we thought certain things were too difficult or only achievable for much larger organisations, but the process encouraged us to find ways to make them work. It’s a tough certification to get. The median score for ordinary businesses is 50, and we needed a verified score of over 80 to pass. In the end, we passed with a score of 82.6 points. But it's not a 'one-and-done' deal. We have to go through the whole process again every three years and prove each time that we’re continually improving.

We also support our team's families with extended secondary caregiver leave, and we've built an inclusive culture as proud members of Pride Pledge. It’s simple: when you buy a motorhome from us, you’re being looked after by people who are also looked after.

We are dedicated to partnering with ethical, like-minded organisations, from social enterprises like Will & Able, which creates jobs for New Zealanders with disabilities, to vital local groups like the Monte Cecilia Housing Trust, providing housing for families in our neighbourhood. We also proudly support the national work of Trees That Count to help restore Aotearoa's native forests.
4. Environment: Enabling responsible ownership

We are acutely aware of our responsibility to protect the pristine landscapes our motorhomes allow you to explore. We actively work to reduce our footprint across our entire operation. This includes transitioning our operational fleet to electric models, offsetting our emissions through Forever Forests, and supporting wildlife restoration efforts through partners such as the Predator Free Hauraki Coromandel Community Trust (PFHCCT).
Our commitment to a circular economy is a central component of our environmental policy. We maintain our motorhomes to the highest standards and refurbish them so they can be enjoyed for longer by new owners. This is combined with our "repair-first" policy for parts, which includes our in-house bumper repair program and our partnership with Tyrewise to ensure that all tyres are repurposed. All of these initiatives significantly reduce landfill waste.
5. Customers: Your adventure, our promise
This pillar is all about the value and confidence you get when you buy from us. We exclusively import high-quality German motorhomes that are built to last and come with extensive manufacturer and water-tightness guarantees. We're also committed to providing peace of mind. Our robust warranty program, which covers both our new and pre-owned vehicles, was a contributing factor in our B Corp assessment.
